ANTM
One of the first reality shows to inspire a generation to come, America’s Next Top Model established supermodel Tyra Banks as a reality mogul and changed the face of non-scripted TV as we know it. Now entering its 21st cycle, the show has undergone many changes and established a reputation for pushing the reality envelope like no other.

Some major broadcast boundaries were pushed with the show. The show was one of the first to show the cutthroat nature of the modeling industry, one of the first reality competitions to prominently feature a trans-model and also featured petit models, plus sized models and many other unusual types of beauty.

This season we’re most excited for a couple of contestants – particularly the following four:

Chantelle:

The model with a skin pigmentation disease proves to be another groundbreaking moment for both modeling and reality television.

Keith:

A handsome model who recalls Tyson in the early stages of his career, Keith is taking us places near and far.

Shel:

The beauty astounds with her angular cheekbones and her groundbreaking posing.

Raella:

She’s bold in both attitude and looks…and reminds us of a mini-Tyra more than ever before.

Prizes include a modeling contract with NEXT Model Management, a spread in Nylon magazine, and a US$100,000 campaign with Guess. Another groundbreaking moment of this season is it’s a coed season, pitting male and female models against one another like never before. Watch and tweet along with the new season of ANTM @YAmzine!
