Some choose to toil beneath the sun

Others choose to laugh, their tasks undone

Some choose to reach the for stars out there

Others choose to simply sulk and stare

Some choose to act well in the play

Others choose to watch from far away.

Some choose to love this uncertain life

Others choose to focus on its trifling strife.

Some choose to run the winning race

And steadily believe through their darkest days

Others lose hope before they’ve even entered the track

And choose to only shamelessly stand back

Some choose to love, some choose to hate

Some choose the golden palace, others – the wooden gate

Some choose to laugh, but some to weep

Its true – what you choose that you shall reap.
