Hello young musician enthusiasts, for this new feature we are picking some of our (and hopefully your) favorite pop songs and giving you some suggestions of comparable and generally awesome tracks to get you grooving. Enjoy!

If you like:Stay With Me” by Sam Smith the up and coming voice of a generation has well and truly arrived, with sultry vocal tones and heartrending lyrics

We think you’ll dig:Do It All Again” by Mr. Probz this track is less dance oriented than some of his other music, and all the better as it gives him more space to showcase his considerable vocal talent.

If you like: Charlie XCX “Boom Clap” our favorite song from our favorite movie of the year, The Fault in Our Stars.

We think you’ll dig: Bondax “All I See” it’s got a little more beat but a similarly awesome melody and a female led vocal that will have you singing along repeatedly after the first time.

If you like:All About That Bass” by Megan Trainor, because let’s face it who doesn’t like a sassy vocal, and it was about time somebody featured a double bass in a pop song again.

We think you’ll dig: MKTO “Could Be Me” California boys MKTO have produced another infectious pop hit, which features an off beat as its defining feature, where Trainor’s is all about that bass.
