Troian Bellisario
This week for PLL Tuesday we are continuing on with our spotlight on each individual Liar. This week, we have the incomparable Troian Bellisario.

Troian was always destined to be a star. Her father is Donald P. Bellisario, who created numerous television programs, most notably NCIS, Magnum, P.I., and Quantum Leap. Her first ever role came at the age of 3, when she was cast in a very small role in her father’s only theatrically released film, Last Rites. She also appeared on her father’s programs Quantum Leap and a short-lived series called Tequila & Bonetti at ages 5 and 7. When she was 13, she co-starred in Billboard Dad, one of Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen’s many films in the 1990s.

In 2010, the same year that PLL began, she starred in the twisted indie drama Consent, a film about a family’s descent into chaos after the suicide of their eldest daughter. Also during her run on PLL, she had a small role opposite Jonathan Groff (Frozen, Glee) in C.O.G., a film based on the writings of David Sedaris. She also starred as the title character in the web series Lauren, which is part of the WIGS Youtube network, a Youtube channel that streams content geared heavily toward women. Troian has received several nominations for her performance in Lauren.

Aside from acting, Troian also has writer/producer on her resume. She wrote, co-produced, and starred in the short film Exiles, opposite Shane Coffeey, who played Holden Strauss on PLL.

The future of Troian’s career looks extremely bright. She will appear in an upcoming episode of Suits, and co-stars with her PLL cast-mate Shay Mitchell in Immediately Afterlife, a short film in which the two play the only surviving members of a cult after a mass suicide.

Pretty Little Liars returns in December for a the holiday themed episode, “How The A Stole Christmas.”
