The Glitch Mob “I Need My Memory Back”

Teen Wolf, Season 4 Episode 11

Teen Wolf has a reputation for picking high profile bangers to accompany energetics scene and this track by The Glitch Mob is no exception, playing whilst Liam and Mason pump iron in the gym. The Glitch Mob is an American electronica act who formed in Los Angeles in 2006, and who have remixed The White Stripes and The Prodigy as well as contributing a remix of a Daft Punk song to the soundtrack of Tron. Kite String Tangle “Given The Chance”

Teen Wolf, Season 4 Episode 11

This is a really soulful piece of music that accompanies the loaded love scene between Scott and Kira. Kite Strings Tangle’s voice is reminiscent of his contemporaries such as Active Child, but he adds intricate layers of sound in the production that underscore the expressive quality of the vocal. Kite String Tangle is a huge talent out of Brisbane, also known as Danny Harley, and we can’t wait for him to play some dates stateside (he’s playing in California next month). Check out his debut album Vessel.

Walking Shapes “Feel Good”

Finding Carter Season 1 Episode 12

This track plays in the background as Crash and Carter ask music questions to get to know one another. It’s a hopeful sound that heralds the beginning of a new love between the pair. Walking Shapes are a five piece out of New York with a sound that melds, in their words, elements of Syd Barret post Pink Floyd and early Kings of Leon. This track is pulled off their album Taka Come On, which was released earlier this year.

Oh Travioso – “Already Gone”

Royal Pains, Season 6 Episode 13

This is a lovely acoustic song that accompanies Jeremiah as he walks into the bar, struggling to cope with the loss of Vivian. Oh Travioso is a musician turned App designer(!) named Hayden Bursk who is based in Los Angeles, and has also had music featured on ABC’s Switched At Birth. Kick back to his little peace of musical paradise in the song below:

Civil Twilight “Fire Escape”

Finding Carter Season 1 Episode 12

This is a nice dose of rousing indie rock from Civil Twilight that plays out as Carter and Crash make out in his car. The fiery nature of the song is in keeping with the heat between Carter and Crash. Civil Twilight are a south African band based in Nashville who are constantly impressing us with their multifaceted sound and impressive storytelling skills. Other people clearly feel the same, as they have played Bonnaroo, and opened for huge acts like Florence and the Machine and the Smashing Pumpkins. They released their second album, Holy Weather, in 2012. Check out the track here:
