Owl City nails youthful, bubbly electropop – fitting for a band whose lead member honed his craft on his nights off from his job at Coca-Cola. Their sound is infectious without being over the top. The Midsummer Station delivers more finely refined fare than their previous three albums. Station is more collaboration-heavy, also; Mark Hoppus and Carly Rae Jepsen are notable standouts. The album artwork is stunning in it’s own right, and overall Station  is definitely worthy of a stop-by. ASIN: B008E374PO

Track Spotlight:

Good Time features Carly Rae Jepsen, clearly the queen of summer singles. Together Owl City and Carly are clearly living up to the name and the single is easily going to be a mainstay for the rest of the summer.
